Miracles and Mysteries: The Halifax Explosion December 6, 1917
2 journalers for this copy...
Mary Ann Monnon's father was one of the survivors of the Halifax explosion. His story along with those of other survivors are interesting accounts of this disaster. Many of the accounts are heartbreaking, many miraculous. However, I think this is the only redeeming feature of this book. The editing is very poor with many spelling and grammatical errors throughout, and I suspect some factual errors but do not know that for sure. The chapters other than the survivors' stories are quite boring.
