This is a remarkable story, apparently a true story, too, fantastic as it seems. Although the writing style isn't always the best, I still found myself unable to put it down. Jenny Cockell has done exhaustive research to prove her facts and indeed, it seems difficult to refute them. I can't even imagine what it must have felt like for her to reach the end of this story and the kind of satisfaction the knowledge must have brought her.

I am sending this off as a surprise to a bookcrosser who has an interest in *synchronicity*. I hope you like this book, lakelady!

Thank you so much Jessibud. You must be physic. I read about this book about a week ago and was thinking, gee that sounds interesting. Also I was startng to wonder what books I would take away on my trip to Tasmania on Wednesday. I thought one or two bookrings would have arrived by now and they haven't, leaving me just two heavy library books which I particularly didn't want to take, so your RABCK was perfect timing. Thank you so much. I'm really looking forward to reading it. It was such a lovely surprise.

best wishes
Debbie

Just been wondering if this is a perfect example of synchronicity. Perhaps I was thinking about the book just when you were buying it? I am also wondering if this may help with my novel. It often happens in my writing that a book I need (or sometimes don't even know at the time that I need) suddenly comes my way. I will keep you informed....

I really enjoyed this book and found it fascinating. Thank you so much Jessibud. I am now quite excited about reading more like it if possible. I am going to offer it as a bookring.
From the back cover:
For as long as he could remember, Jenny Cockell had known that she had lived before as Mary Sutton, a young Irishwoman who had died over twenty years before Jenny was born. Her constant dream-memory was of Mary dying, alone and desperately worried about what would happen to the eight young children she was leaving behind. When at last her own children were born, Jenny finally acknowledged that she needed to find out what had happened to her lost family.

an interesting story. I'm not sure it has convinced me about reincarnation, but it has given me something to think about. not such a quick read as you would expect from the slimness of the book.

off to puppymummy this afternoon.

Journal Entry 8 by puppymummy from Melbourne CBD, Victoria Australia on Friday, May 20, 2005
Arrived safely, behind a couple of others on the TBR pile but hopefully I can get to it soon.

Journal Entry 9 by puppymummy from Melbourne CBD, Victoria Australia on Wednesday, June 08, 2005
I don't think I was supposed to read this yet, but it looked thin so I bumped it ahead a bit. Certainly not the best-written story I have ever read, but the subject matter was fascinating and has made me think differently about a few things. I really appreciate having the opportunity to read this one, thanks to jessibud and lakelady2282!

Journal Entry 10 by Sabavana from Mangrove Mountain, New South Wales Australia on Friday, June 17, 2005
I was trying to be all clever and put a link in my journal entry, and I stuffed up :-)
Here's what I meant to say:

Received safely from puppymummy - thanks! I've read another of Jenny Cockell's books on this subject (journal entry here) and it seems this book was written first as it was reference several times, and I had no idea what she was talking about! Looking forward to this one :-)

Journal Entry 11 by Sabavana from Mangrove Mountain, New South Wales Australia on Friday, June 24, 2005
A fascinating story. I'm intrigued by past lives, and how they would 'connect' with our current life. Jenny does an amazing job of tracing her past life children, even though there was the huge risk that firstly they wouldn't exist, secondly she couldn't find them, and most of all that they wouldn't want contact with her.
I did wonder though about her current life family - she seems to have been quite obsessed by her search for a number of years, if I were her family I would feel quite jealous about that, but that's just me!
Thankyou lakelady2282 for Ringing this, will send on to Loopylou127 next week.

Journal Entry 12 by Loopylou127 from Hassall Grove, New South Wales Australia on Friday, July 29, 2005
OK Consider this a double entry :0) It arrived safely and I managed to read this within two week (that a record for me) It found me at a time without a book and a couple of quiet afternoons. I found it very easy reading she has such patience I don't know if I could have waited so long - I think I would have gone for more hypnosis to find more info at less cost. I'll get this out as soon as I confirm the next address. Thanks Sabvana for posting and Lakelady for the oppertunity.

Journal Entry 15 by bookfairy65 from Yass, New South Wales Australia on Sunday, September 04, 2005
WOW! This is an amazing story. I cannot believe that Jenny was so certain about her dreams and memories that she felt the need to find her children from her previous life. What a determined woman she is.

I really enjoyed reading this book and am stunned by it. Thanks for the opportunity to read it lakelady. I will send it back to you when I confirm your address.

Journal Entry 16 by lakelady2282 from Lake Macquarie, New South Wales Australia on Monday, September 12, 2005
