Born in Death

"Eve Dallas has a grisly double homicide to solve when two young lovers—both employees of the same prestigious accounting firm—are brutally killed on the same night."
Personally, I have really enjoyed all of J.D. Robb's "In Death" series and hope the person who chooses this book will as well. J.D. Robb does a great job with this series and each of the books can be read as stand-alone novels. In fact, this series is one that I have as part of my permanent collection. Only registered this one because I have another copy of it! :)
Can Eve solve the murders of these two accountants? Stepping out of her role in homicide, and into a missing person's case, will she get to the bottom of Tandy's disappearance? Will Eve and Roarke be able to handle being in the room when Mavis has her baby? After all, she can stare at a gruesome murder scene so why can't she handle the birthing process?
While reading this novel in the series, this reader is also reading Three in Death (three novellas featuring Lt. Eve Dallas and Roarke); this was not the smartest move as keeping the stories straight while going back and forth between the four stories. Note to self: Don't do that again.
Love Eve Dallas and Roarke, and their interactions. Love her sarcasm and her inability to deal with normal life. And hey, Roarke is just hot.
Sharing this book with the wider world--enjoy!
I have either registered it, or received it from another person who is willing to share it, too. Consider logging onto www.bookcrossing.com and letting us know where it is been and where it is going next. It can be done anonymously or join the site as a member.
Several In Death novels plus two others; hope you enjoy them all.
